Duration – On-going

Pay – hourly equivalent to £27,000

Work pattern – Hybrid working

Hours – 35 per week

Location – North London

Our client is a well respected Charity that operates with in the scientific field. They are looking for an experienced Project professional to join their team on an on-going basis.

General Duties

Budget line responsibility and signing off payments/invoices up to £500.

Co-ordinating departmental activity to ensure the smooth running of projects and other activity.

Processes and approves over 100 applications for travel bursaries, budget £30k.

Responsible for administration and project officer support to four committees.

Coordinator support to around 20 events per year.

Keeping the Institute up-to-date on departmental activity via the Intranet, etc

Arranging senior stakeholder meetings such as Science and Innovation project steering boards and supporting stakeholders so that they have a positive and rewarding experience.

Organising monthly team meetings and bi-annual away-days to plan and coordinate projects and activities across the department.

Organising events including inviting speakers, and preparing and distributing invitations, which occasionally require attendance at some off-site venues.

Collecting data and reporting to manage performance and ensure inclusion and representation that reflects the demographics of the community.

Maintaining and supporting the updates of contact information in our Salesforce CRM database.

Supporting financial procedures by preparing expenses forms, cheque requisitions, invoices and processing expenses.

Handling diaries, appointments, making arrangements for travel and accommodation and correspondence

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience in coordinating projects or events, administration or delivering membership services and practical experience of working in a customer facing role.

Personable and committed to customer focus.

Computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce CRM system, Zoom, MessageFocus or other email marketing solutions
